The 2025 ASM will be held in the gibson hotel, Dublin 1 on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 October on the theme of “Next-Gen EM”.
Hosted by the Mater hospital, the future-focused programme will cover AI in EM; Leadership; Treating Vulnerable Patients; Trauma; Critical Care; and Geriatric Emergency Medicine, along with Academic; Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine; and Emergency Nursing tracks. The finals of the re-vamped NCHD/Nursing SimWars competition will take place on the main stage on the Thursday afternoon where the top teams will demonstrate their skills before the winning team is crowned.
Culminating in the Leo Vella lecture, this year’s ASM seeks to highlight advances and opportunities that will impact EM and provoke thought and discussion on best practice in an evolving landscape.
