Aortic Dissection

Aortic Dissection is a time-critical medical emergency that without diagnosis and treatment, is often fatal.  It is caused by a partial tear in the wall of the aorta, that can then spread along the length of the vessel.

IAEM are delighted to team up with the Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust who have produced this training video “Could it be Aortic Dissection?” for medical professionals.

A poster linking to the above video is available to download for display to healthcare professionals in the ED and printed copies are available from heretohelp@tadct.org

TheCase.Report‘s Aortic Dissection podcast is available at https://www.thecase.report/episodes/aorta
