IAEM looks back at a very successful 2017 Annual Scientific Meeting
The 2017 Irish Association for Emergency Medicine Annual Scientific Meeting took place at the Galway Bay Hotel, Salthill on Thursday 19th and Friday 20th October 2017 with the AGM of the Association on 21st October 2017. The meeting proved a great success and attracted a record number of poster submissions. The quality of the oral presentations at each of the tracks was also of a very high standard.
The programme of plenary presentations reflected the breath of Emergency Medicine with excellent and informative presentations on both topical and important issues for Emergency Medicine.
Thanks is due to the local organising committee under the chairmanship of Mr James Binchy, Consultant in Emergency Medicine at Galway University Hospital, the officers of the Association and the IAEM Admin team for their work in organising the conference.
The 2018 ASM will take place in Dublin next October with the 2019 meeting due to take place in Sligo.
