#DasSMACC in Berlin
Following the roaring success of SMACCDUB in Dublin last year, #DasSMACC will be held in Berlin’s Tempodrome from June 26th to June 29th 2017
SMACC is ‘Social Media and Critical Care’. It is an international not-for-profit multi-disciplinary critical care conference that originated with the FOAM community (FOAM is Free Open Access Medical education) or #FOAMed on Twitter. #DasSMACC in Berlin promises to push new boundaries in critical care education
Highlights to expect at DasSMACC include:
- SMACCFORCE – the most cutting edge, exciting prehospital workshop out there
- Single stream – the best international speakers with updates on the most exciting topics
- Berlin is an fantastic backdrop for SMACC – a wonderfully historic and vibrant European city infused with a complex past. The Tempodrome is usually a venue for concerts but SMACC will transform the stage to feature critical care education!
- Free to access SMACC content via podcasts produced after the conference
DasSMACC features input from leading Irish EM physicians such as Brian Burns, Jason van der Velde and Conor Deasy. The late John Hinds will be honoured by the opening plenary session in his name. Rob McSweeney and Cian McDermott sit on on the organising committee for DasSMACC in Berlin
Networks, connections, a spirit of innovation and enthusiasm are what make the SMACC community so successful. SMACC will take a break in 2018 so be sure to make this a conference to remember!
Alles klar!
