Life Members of IAEM

Section 3.3.2 of the IAEM Constitution entitles a Full Member of the Association to Life Membership on retirement from his/her Consultant appointment. As a relatively young specialty, Emergency Medicine has had relatively few retirements to date.

Those who have retired from clinical practice and have been awarded Life Membership of the Association are listed hereunder. All played a very significant role in the development of the specialty and IAEA, later to become IAEM.
