Friday 18th August 2023 saw the publication of IAEM’s 50th clinical guideline on the ED treatment of burns in adult patients, which joins IAEM’s repository of high-quality, evidence-based guidelines for a range of presentations for adult and paediatric patients.
These clinical guidelines, written specifically for the Irish context, provide a resource to contribute to high quality patient care and are reviewed by IAEM’s Clinical Guidelines Committee who review the guidelines submitted and ensure that quality and robustness of the guidelines produced.
IAEM wishes to thank those who have contributed to the published guidelines and continue to work on new guidelines, especially the Clinical Guidelines Committee who are committed to assisting authors to produce these guidelines.
